About our Bike Tour
Your bike tour includes a
one night stay at each of our three inns, and you cycle
to each inn during the day. Each of the three inns
provides you with
dinner, breakfast and a trail lunch for your ride. Your
luggage will be shuttled to the next inn each day. On
the fourth day, you and your gear will be shuttled back
to the starting point or you may ride back and your gear
will be shuttled. Each day you can choose a moderate or
more challenging route to the next inn. Maps and
detailed directions will be provided to you at the start
of your tour. The bike tour routes utilize our scenic
country roads and abandoned railroad beds. The tour
covers both paved and dirt roads and some rough
surfaces, so a mountain bike is suggested.
Mileage each day will range from 15 to 30 miles
depending on which route you choose. A sag wagon is not
provided. Whether you ride once a week or cycling is a
way of life, our tour will make you feel at home on a
bike.

cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the
arrival date. No refunds for cancellations made 13 days
or less before arrival date.
What to Bring
The weight of your bike and
your gear is always a concern, but remember this is a
bike tour and not a bike race. Try not to sacrifice
weight for comfort. Past riders have suggested large
fanny packs or back packs for carrying gear, as it is
less apt to roll around or fall off your bike. They also
recommend having your bike tuned by a professional
mechanic and then riding it a few times before your
tour. It’s always best to prepared for all occasions, so
we suggest that you bring some or all of the following
equipment for a safe and fun ride through our beautiful
Northeast Pennsylvania countryside.
- Patch Kit and Tube
- Bike Frame Pump
- Helmet (Required)
- 2 Bottles of Water
- Protective Eye Wear
- Sun block and Bug Spray
- Extra Brake
- Derailleur Cables
- 2 or 3 Spokes
- Rain Gear
